Aims of the Dunraven PTA

Our aim is to further support a child’s success at Dunraven and beyond by strengthening the partnership between parents and the school.

The purpose of the Dunraven Parent Teacher Association (DPTA) is to:

  • Promote and encourage a close cooperation between parents, teachers, students and governors
  • Support and enhance communication between parents and the school
  • Offer parents the opportunity to participate and contribute to Dunraven’s on-going success
  • Strengthen links between existing parents whilst encouraging new parents to become actively involved in the life of the school
  • Organise a range of events where parents can meet each other and staff both formally and informally
  • Assist the school at various social and curriculum events
  • Support fundraising projects

The DPTA meets regularly throughout the school year. Please read the school website and newsletters for further details of forthcoming events.

If you have any queries or suggestions/ideas please email the school at info@dunraven-school.org.uk and label your email ‘ For the attention of the DPTA’.

The term ‘parent’ includes any individual who has parental responsibility for, or cares for a child under the age of 19 registered at the school.
